Professionally produced by HDE Agency, TASTE. Chandler’s Culinary Festival is the East Valley’s best fine dining celebration where foodies flock to taste, savor and enjoy delightful creations from their favorite local restaurants. This year, the fourth annual celebration will make its return to downtown Chandler on October 6, 2012 from 5-10 p.m.

“We’re now in our fourth year and based on feedback from last year and the high temperatures in early October, we’ve decided TASTE. is most enjoyable during the cooler evening hours, ” said event producer and creative director of HDE Agency, Landon Evans.

There’s an element of romantic elegance that is better shared under the moonlight with a glass of wine and a plate of culinary deliciousness that is difficult to capture under the Arizona sun.”

In addition to the time change, HDE isexpanding the restaurant boundaries to include participants from across the East Valley. Restaurant participants will have the opportunity to participate in the “Best of TASTE.” competition with categories like best American, Asian, Italian, Mexican, Winery, Casual Café, Dessert and Overall Best of.

Last year, Yoli’s Café in Chandler took home both the Overall “Best Of” and Casual Café awards. “We were overwhelmed by the positive responses, support and increase in business after winning the Best Of TASTE. Within a week of the event, our business doubled and we were featured on television, in the newspaper and online. We’re already working on creating dishes that will impress festival goers again this year,” said Yoli’s Café owner, Yolanda Fernandez.

Other 2011 winners included an honorable mention for AJ’s Café and Coach & Willie’s for superior flavor and presentation, American – The Keg, Asian – Shimogamo, Dessert – Paletas Betty, Italian – NYPD Pizza, Mexican – Dos Gringos, Sports Bar – Irish Republic  and Winery – Kokopelli Winery & Bistro.
